Tracing of a poem, 2007, questions the relationship between an object and ideology by the simultaneous unfolding of both a subject and an object—in the poem and its making.  Tracing of a Poem traces the production of a poem that has no formal ends except for the lines of a poem with letters and spaces determined by chance operations.  What becomes evident is the labor involved in the poem’s production.
