Coin flip walk, 2006, represents a series of chance events along a line spanning the length of a room at the Main Buiding of MICA (Maryland Institute College of Art).  Within each digital transparency appears digital photographs of coin flips taken at intersections in Bolton Hill, Baltimore. Each coin flip determines the direction taken to the next intersection.  A digital photo transparency of the ground where the quarter was flipped index each event. Each transparency arranges in chronological order.

Transparent digital photo prints hang in chronological order across a room. Digital photographs of the ground were taken where upon the flipping of a coin at an intersection in Bolton Hill, Baltimore. A coin flip determined the direction taken from an intersection. Tails meant taking a left. Heads meant taking a right.
