Line drawing, 2009, uses ready-made lines provided by the U.S. military to produce chance drawings in the sky.  Each line eventually fades into the sky.  The lines mimic the clouds.  Taken in Wichita, Kansas, the photographs locate an aspect of the U.S.’ imperialist efforts in occupying Iraq and Afghanistan within a liminal frame.  Many of the planes that fly over Wichita go to Iraq or Afghanistan or refuel planes destined to bomb such places, killing those who may or may not have any intent to harm others.  The sky does not declare allegiances.
